Overview

The University of Manchester Disability Service is delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for Administrative Assistants to join our team. This is a busy, high pressure, and demanding role that is critical to delivering an exemplar student and staff centred specialist advice and guidance service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide essential clerical, finance, reception, and administrative support across the core activities of Disability Services.
  • Support the University's compliance with its Equality Act (2010) duties.
  • Provide clear and accurate information and guidance to prospective and current disabled students, disabled staff members, and colleagues across the University, relating to both internal support and external funding processes.
  • Work independently, manage a high and fast paced workload, and contribute effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and accuracy skills.
  • Confidence working within process driven systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high and fast paced workload.
