Camps Coaching Staff

Overview

The Real Salt Lake Youth Soccer Camp Coaches provide instruction to children ages 5-14 in our official summer camps. Coaches are responsible for teaching the RSL Summer Camp curriculum, setting up and taking down equipment, and traveling across the Wasatch Front to visit multiple camps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions based on the RSL Camps curriculum.
• Set up and break down camp equipment at each session.
• Attend at least 80% of scheduled camps and community events.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Camps Program Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• 95% of the work will be done outdoors.
• Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Must be able to provide own transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• U.S. Soccer Coaching Certified.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
• Previous soccer playing or coaching experience.
• Soccer referee experience.

Physical Requirements

The job requires regularly lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting or pushing more than 75 pounds or exerting heavy force, under various environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc.
