With overtime, paying a time and a half for the first 8 hours worked per week, and then double for any additional work should you want it, this role will pay you what you are worth and give you the exposure to bolster your management prospects.

In this role you will be primarily on the digital side, with scope to get hands on and bring your designs to life if you have experience making furniture already. With the creative freedom to do things your way, you can put your own creative stamp on the staple of interiors within the Newcastle-under-Lyme area and will receive world class training in the furniture making process.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with SolidWorks, SWOOD CAM and PDM, a background in cabinetry or experience with sheet metals.

The Role:

• Produce accurate 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks, working closely with workshop management to maintain standards and attention to detail.
• Conduct site visits and surveys.
• Opportunities to mentor junior designers and get hands on.

The Person:

• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Strong creative authenticity with a desire to pass on their talents
• Local to Newcastle-under-Lyme
