CAD Designer - BTGJP

Our client is looking for a technically skilled CAD Designer to create and maintain high-accuracy technical drawings and plans. Working alongside engineers and architects, you will be responsible for translating complex data into detailed visual representations.

Mandatory Requirement

• Security Clearance: Active Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance is essential for this role due to the nature of the projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting: Create 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
• Design Interpretation: Convert field sketches and technical specifications into accurate digital designs.
• Quality & Compliance: Conduct quality checks to correct errors and ensure all work meets industry standards.
• Project Support: Revise drawings based on feedback and maintain organized project files to meet strict deadlines.

Required Skills

• Software Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit is required.
• Drawing Principles: A strong understanding of technical drawing standards and the ability to interpret engineering plans.
• Precision: High attention to detail with a basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively within a technical team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or civil engineering.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
