C++ Software Intern - Learn & Build in Linux

Location: Cork

Reports to: Sr. Principal Software Engineer

Job Overview

This internship with the Virtuoso Application Engineering team will help you learn Virtuoso ADE, Virtuoso Spectre, AMS Designer, Liberate, and related tools. The team supports customers worldwide on these products and collaborates with Product Engineering and R&D teams to drive new features.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the support and debugging of these products and features for marquee customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Passion to learn and write high quality C++ using tools such as gmake/cmake and IDEs like CLion or Visual Studio.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience writing programs in C/C++ or object oriented programming in other languages.
• Experience with Virtuoso is a big plus.
