Buyer

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer with a strong long-lead fashion background to join a fast-paced, growing fashion business. Experience across knitwear, coats/outerwear and denim is essential.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of categories from development through to sign-off and trade.
• Manage product development and long-lead critical paths.
• Oversee fittings, sign-offs and product amendments.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing and order chasing.
• Monitor sales, KPIs and bestseller performance.
• Lead category trading and make commercially driven decisions.
• Manage and develop junior members of the team.
• Attend trade meetings and overseas buying trips.

Requirements

• Proven experience at Buyer level within fashion.
• Strong long-lead buying experience.
• Experience across knitwear, coats/outerwear and/or denim.
• Strong commercial and trend awareness.
• Confident supplier negotiation and management skills.
• Experience managing junior team members.Overseas buying trip experience.
• Highly organised, proactive and commercially focused.
