Butcher

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experiencedButcher to join our Team at Kingsbury Farms!

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of bothretail and foodservice meat preparation. Must be confident working with whole primals, cutting steaks accurately to weight, and preparing cuts suitable for chefs, restaurants, and retail customers.

This role requires excellent knife skills, strong product knowledge, and an understanding of how different cuts perform when cooked.

• Prepare, cut, trim, and portion a range of beef and other meats to precise specifications
• Cut steaks accurately totarget weightswhile maintaining presentation and yield
• Prepare and pack products forfoodservice customers and e-commerce ordersto a high visual standard
• Understand and produce bothretail cuts and chef ready foodservice cuts
• Maintain the highest standards ofquality, freshness, and product consistency
• Ensure all work complies withfood safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
• Manage stock rotation and assist in minimising waste
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area
• Deliver goods as and when required

• Proven experience as a butcher inretail, wholesale, or foodservice production
• Strong knife skills with the ability to break down primals and portion accurately
• Ability tocut steaks consistently to weight
• Good understanding offoodservice terminology and chef focused cuts
• Knowledge of how different cuts perform when cooked
• Strong attention to detail and product presentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
• Good understanding offood safety and hygiene regulations
• This can be a physical job, you must be able to lift cartons up to 22kgs in weight
• Full Driving Licence.
