Job Description

EIS Versilia is seeking a Business Teacher (Cambridge IGCSE & A Level)

Level: Upper Secondary School (High School) Academic Year: 2025/2026


Location: Versilia, Tuscany Full-time or part-time Immediate availability preferred

EIS Versilia is seeking a qualified and internationally minded Business Teacher to join our High School team and deliver the Cambridge International IGCSE and A Level Business syllabi. The ideal candidate combines content expertise with active teaching strategies and a global perspective on entrepreneurship, economics, and corporate responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Cambridge IGCSE Business (0450) and A Level Business (9609) to students aged 14-18;

- Plan engaging, relevant lessons that develop students' understanding of business environments, marketing, operations, finance, and strategy;

- Use case studies, simulations, debates, and real-world examples to enhance conceptual and applied learning;

- Integrate digital tools and platforms to support research, presentations, and collaborative work;

- Prepare students for internal assessments, mock exams, and official Cambridge external examinations;

- Support students in developing entrepreneurial mindsets, critical thinking, and global economic awareness;

- Contribute to extracurricular initiatives such as business clubs, student startups, or financial literacy projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Degree in Business, Economics, Management, or related field;

- Teaching qualification and experience at IGCSE and/or A Level (Cambridge preferred);

- C1 level of English (CEFR) or native fluency;

- Familiarity with Cambridge assessment criteria, exam preparation, and coursework design;

- Experience with active methodologies such as flipped classroom, blended learning, and project-based tasks;

- Excellent organizational and communication skills;

- Ability to inspire and challenge students with diverse backgrounds and ambitions.
