Business Support Analyst Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days/week Knaresborough.3-month temporary role.

I am working with an organisation in Knaresborough who are seeking to recruit a driven and detail-oriented professional to join them as a
Business Support Analyst. This is your chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while gaining invaluable experience in data, reporting, and operational excellence.
You'll be at the centre of the operations, supporting the Senior Management Team and collaborating with finance, procurement, and operational teams. From managing tonnage data to streamlining supplier processes, your work will directly influence contract performance and community service delivery.
What You'll Be Doing

• Own the collation and analysis of tonnage data for monthly, quarterly, and annual Authority reports
• Support procurement processes from setup to supplier payment
• Manage supplier onboarding and liaise with our central Contract Services team
• Produce internal KPIs and performance reports, including SLA and incident tracking
• Maintain document control and version management systems
• Oversee site overtime records and support local admin projects
• Assist the Commercial Manager with compliance and performance reporting

Experience:

• Advanced Excel skills (Power BI would be a bonus)
• Strong written communication and eagle-eyed attention to detail
• Confidence working with large datasets and numerical information
• Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
• Discretion when handling confidential and contractual information
• Experience with SAP or similar finance systems
• Background in commercial or contract management environments
