This role is the primary contact and conduit between SJP and the largest Partner businesses. The job holder is expected to conduct regular, robust, in-depth, analytical reviews of the Partners' business throughout the year and provide, or source, any relevant development and coaching required.

The role involves supporting and guiding Partners and their teams in developing their knowledge, advice processes, business skills, and their Practices in line with corporate and regulatory guidelines. Its aim is to encourage Partners to adopt appropriate strategies, operational efficiency, and develop best practices, leading to business growth, longevity, and excellent client outcomes.

What you'll be doing:
  • Working alongside the Risk and Supervision teams to ensure risk and compliance requirements are met on client outcomes, with regular reviews and broader risk work to comply with the IARR expectations.
  • Identifying emerging risks that impact consumer outcomes and working across SJP and Partner businesses to mitigate these risks.
  • Developing succession strategies with the largest businesses to develop exit strategies, succession, MBI, MBO.
  • Conducting People Management assessments to support the development of the business leadership and management teams.
  • Executing Partner service and engagement strategies for the large business segment in alignment with the overall SJP Partner "offer".
  • Using MI to identify trends and opportunities to guide the business strategy.
  • Providing an efficient and digital single point of contact to all large business segment services across SJP, ensuring the right focus and support to SJP's Priority Firms.
  • Sharing best practices on Business-to-Business relationship management with the leadership teams of the largest SJP Businesses to help them achieve their KPIs.
  • Leading and managing a team of large businesses to support new business growth in line with company objectives, always aiming for excellent client outcomes.
  • Supporting large businesses to achieve appropriate professional performance.
  • Inspiring and encouraging appropriate strategy, operational activity, and best practices to enhance Partners' and Advisers' business quality and results.
  • Promoting best practices in business planning, marketing, systems, people management, and administration to create Partners or Advisers capable of long-term growth and productivity.
Skills we are looking for:
  • Skilled coach with Certificate in Advanced Coaching and Mentoring or equivalent experience.
  • Responsible for managing the output and performance of the Partnership, aligned with our values and principles of treating clients fairly (both internal and external).
  • Ability to understand and deploy the breadth of the SJP Proposition post-induction, based on Partner needs.
  • Ability to advise on enterprise strategy and business planning.
  • Ability to understand Partner development needs through motivator conversations.
