Business Information Officer - NPPV3 cleared

We are seeking a Business Information Officer/Manager to join the client's senior leadership team in support of the Director of Information.The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for business intelligence, information compliance, records management, and performance reporting.

The role is key in ensuring ethical, effective, and innovative use of information. You will oversee the development of advanced analytics and ensure data supports strategic decisions. The postholder will also foster a data-driven culture, manage privacy and disclosure compliance.

Prime Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop high-performing specialist teams
• Oversee delivery of records management
• Manage force-wide performance reporting and analytics
• Promote and embed data-informed decision-making across departments
• Govern the ethical use of advanced analytics, AI, and emerging data technologies
• Represent the senior managementat senior internal and external governance forums
• Oversee risk management and business continuity planning within the Information Management portfolio
• Lead a culture of continuous improvement, adopting modern and flexible approaches
• Collaborate with IT and Digital teams on modernisation of business information platforms and reporting tools

Experience: - SC and NPPV3 clearance (Warwickshire)

• Senior leadership experience in a change-oriented role
• Proven ability to lead specialist teams, set objectives, and drive delivery
• Strong track record in the public sector
• Strategic understanding of information governance
• Experience with BI tools (eg, Power BI) and cloud-based systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels

The role is expected to eventually become one of permanent employment if the incumbent wishes to continue as such.
