Business Improvement Manager - SC Cleared - Milton Keynes

Active SC Clearance is required for this role!

15 month contract - Inside IR35 - Day rate £640

Hybird working - 3 days per week onsite

A leading client in Milton Keynes is seeking a Business Improvement Manager to help drive efficiencies and improvements throughout the organisation. This role combines project management with coaching and supports the ongoing continuous improvement strategy, aligning with the company's corporate plan and goals to deliver high-quality service and value for money to customers.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in continuous improvement and change management to temporarily cover maternity leave for a current team member. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for large, high-profile projects already in progress, which require significant change management skills and the ability to quickly understand complex issues. In addition, they will be expected to share their industry expertise and knowledge with both team members and colleagues through mentoring and coaching.

Key skills and responsibilities,

  • An active Security Clearance is mandatory for this role.
  • Candidates must demonstrate significant experience in business improvement, with a proven track record of leading and delivering process enhancement initiatives
  • Possession of a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification or an equivalent qualification
  • Thorough knowledge of change management methodologies, supported by substantive experience managing change within complex project environments
  • Advanced project management capabilities with practical application
  • Proficiency in handling, analysing, and interpreting diverse data sources
  • Ability to effectively interpret and convey high-level process implications without requiring specialised subject matter expertise
  • Documented experience in stakeholder management and familiarity with associated methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, facilitating the swift development of constructive relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team environments
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
