Job Description

Dataiku is The Universal AI Platform, giving organizations control over their AI talent, processes, and technologies to unleash the creation of analytics, models, and agents. Providing no-, low-, and full-code capabilities, Dataiku meets teams where they are today, allowing them to begin building with AI using their existing skills and knowledge.

As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for driving Dataiku's business development activities. You must understand the sales development process and technology stack, ensuring its adoption. We are looking for a results-driven, hands-on self-starter, motivated to constantly improve and optimize the process to drive performance.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  1. Manage a large volume of daily inbound and outbound leads-connecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and qualifying them.
  2. Engage with our Sales and Marketing teams to design, research, and execute outbound campaigns targeting vertical and geographical markets to grow the sales pipeline in a dedicated territory.
  3. Work with Sales Executives to prospect and close large enterprise deals.
  4. Educate and nurture early-phase prospects for potential future opportunities.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of Dataiku DSS and its value proposition, along with an understanding of the Big Data ecosystem, to converse with data and business leaders from SMBs to large multinationals across industries such as e-commerce, retail, banking, insurance, utilities, and transport.
  6. Analyze and report on weekly activities to identify potential optimizations.

Success Profile:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Relevant experience and proven success in sales or business development in the software/tech industry or in a startup environment.
  • Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle pressure and a high volume of tasks in a result-oriented setting.
  • Highly analytical, with a focus on tracking and measuring activities.
  • Interest in innovative topics like Data Science and Predictive Analysis.
