Business Development Manager

This is a stand-alone role for the company and the position is based primarily at our Midleton site with a willingness to travel to support sales for our Carrick-on-Suir site. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will report directly to the Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Help identify new business opportunities, including growth areas and emerging markets.
• Execute door-to-door sales with a strong focus on new estates.
• Deal with customers over the phone and face to face.
• Generate leads and cold call potential customers and businesses.
• Manage existing social media accounts and develop new social media strategies.
• Drive sales and win new business opportunities for the group.
• Understand the company's growth needs.
• Work with finance, collection and transport teams.
• Execute and achieve targets set by the company.
• Create your own sales opportunities through cold canvassing in businesses and residential areas.
• Build a portfolio of long-term relationships with customers and generate referrals from existing clientele.
• Provide feedback to management as required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role is preferential.
• Exceptional motivation skills.
• Ability to analyse sales figures and generate reports for the Leadership team.
• Team player and able to work on your own initiative.
• Experience in digital marketing on multiple social platforms.
• Strong attention to detail.

Salary

From €28,080 per year + high uncapped commission.
