We are recruiting a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Scotland, covering the west-central region. This commercial role is responsible for overseeing the Scotland area, seeking a candidate with confidence, motivation, and a wealth of experience in beverage sales, with a practical background in On-trade operations. Under the supervision of the Scotland Sales Manager, the role focuses on cultivating new business within the Scotland On-Trade sector, engaging with medium to large hospitality groups, and managing both new client acquisition and existing accounts. The company is privately owned with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to success. We seek individuals who naturally possess this skill set within our team.

The Role:

With our diverse portfolio of products, Business Development Managers drive distribution and deliver brand activation across the assigned territory, increasing market share and brand visibility for our brands. You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities and manage a small account base, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies in bars, restaurants, hotels, and other on-premise venues. The role aims to enhance visibility and sales performance while establishing a strong presence in the competitive on-trade environment.

The Person:
  • Strong understanding of regional on-trade, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • PC literacy including PowerPoint, PDF, and Excel
  • Experience of Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
