Business Development Manager

We're seeking a commercially driven sales professional with proven success in the stone, construction, or interiors sector. This role blends account management and business development, maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients while securing new opportunities from developers, architects, contractors, and designers.
You'll be responsible for reading and interpreting architectural drawings, performing material take-offs, estimating costs, and preparing accurate, competitive quotations. You'll follow up on proposals to close deals and work closely with production, procurement, and project teams to ensure project feasibility, profitability, and on-time delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years sales or business development experience in stone, construction, or related materials.
• Strong ability to read drawings, perform take-offs, and produce accurate estimates.
• Proven record of achieving targets and securing high-value projects.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of natural stone, quartz, porcelain, or bespoke fit-outs is highly desirable
• Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the stone industry or related construction/materials sectors.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Solid experience in estimating and performing take-offs for stone, tiling, or similar trades.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Technical knowledge of natural stone, quartz, porcelain, or solid surfaces.
• Established network of contacts within the architecture, design, or construction industries.
• Experience working with high-end or bespoke fit-outs.
