Description

Our client is an award-winning investment management house with a focus on sustainable investing. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager, in a new role to drive new revenue growth for the company.

The Business Development Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

1. Build and maintain new and existing client relationships
2. Work with investments to establish a sales strategy
3. Establish how existing clients, prospects and main intermediaries are structured/operate and their main due diligence capabilities
4. Recognise and develop prospects and generate new business leads
5. Lead client meetings from introductory stages through to investment
6. Obtain knowledge of products and services and work with the team to develop and execute business strategies
7. Maintain internal systems and infrastructure, CRM system, supporting and marketing documents

The Business Development Manager will meet the following skillset:

1. Experience in a business development role in the investment management sector
2. Ability to work within tight deadlines as well as maintain a consistent quality output
3. Driven and self-motivated
4. Knowledge of the key business drivers for IFAs and third parties with reference to impact investing is desired
5. Display excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all client levels
6. Track record of winning new business and delivering growth in revenue and profitability
