Job Description

Role: Business Development Manager

Location: Dublin and Surrounds

Job Type: Permanent - Full time

Salary: Excellent Salary + package

Our leading Global Security and Fire client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with strong technical knowledge across CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Systems (fire knowledge advantageous but not essential).

This is a strategic new business role focused on winning and developing business across Dublin and surrounding areas, driving sustainable growth from both new (60%) and existing (40%) customers.

You'll be responsible for developing key relationships, identifying opportunities, and securing installation and maintenance contracts within the integrated security market.

Responsibilities
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets
  • Identifying, qualifying and winning new business opportunities
  • Growing revenue from existing key and strategic accounts
  • Conducting site surveys and supporting system design and quotations
  • Delivering professional demonstrations and client presentations
  • Supporting bid, design and estimating teams on tenders and proposals
  • Negotiating commercial agreements within approved frameworks
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting via Salesforce
  • Working closely with service and installation teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Researching competitors and market positioning
Requirements
  • Proven track record in electronic security sales
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
  • Experience winning installation & maintenance contracts up to €2m
  • Demonstrable success in both new business and account growth
  • Experience dealing with enterprise clients and major contractors
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and convert a structured sales pipeline
  • Confident communicator with professional presentation skills
  • IT literate (Salesforce / MS Office experience desirable)
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry terminology is preferred but not required.
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • Right to work in UK/EU
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Full clean driving licence (max 6 points)
  • Enhanced DBS (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to undergo additional screening for government sites
