Job Tasks and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Development Director with a proven track record in the Irish renewable energy sector, especially in solar farm and utility-scale projects, to lead our commercial expansion. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with major renewable companies, experience in EPC partnerships, and a deep understanding of high-voltage and battery storage solutions.

This is a senior leadership role focused on revenue growth, market development, and strategic partnerships, with the goal of scaling EverPower's presence and performance in the utility and commercial energy markets.

Key responsibilities include:

Primary Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute EverPower's business development strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Pipeline Development: Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, including greenfield developments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
• Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPC partners, energy utilities, and regulatory agencies.
• Revenue Growth: Drive revenue generation through the origination and execution of high-value energy infrastructure deals.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Internal Process Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of internal standards, tools, and procedures to support scalable and repeatable business growth.
• Technical Oversight: Collaborate closely with engineering and project development teams to ensure the technical and commercial viability of projects, with a particular emphasis on high voltage systems and grid integration.
• Thought Leadership: Represent EverPower at industry conferences, investor meetings, and public forums, delivering persuasive presentations that articulate the company's vision and value proposition.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years' experience in business development or executive roles in the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record with solar or wind projects, ideally in Ireland.
• Experience in structuring, negotiating and closing large-scale energy contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field; MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracting, battery energy storage, and high voltage systems.
