The Opportunity

Our client, an established property services and facilities management firm, is hiring a Sales & Business Development Manager to build and manage a £15-22 million sales pipeline for 2027. This is a high-value, tender-driven sale - targeting individual projects in the £300k-£2m range - for a business with over a decade of delivery behind it across design-build, maintenance, and compliance services. Reporting to the Associate Director, you'll be central to the firm's next phase of commercial growth.

What You'll Own

• Building and managing a £15-22 million sales pipeline for 2027, targeting projects between £300k and £2m
• Securing a minimum of five new independent business clients per year through proactive prospecting, research, and networking
• Preparing tender submissions, capability documents, and commercial materials for maintenance, refurbishment, and project work - working closely with business unit leaders and the MD
• Maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, acting as primary point of contact for commercial discussions
• Tracking pipeline performance, forecasting, and conversion through CRM, and reporting to leadership on a weekly/monthly basis

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing large-value pipelines (£10m+), with strong forecasting and commercial awareness
• A strong background in quoting, proposal writing, and tender submissions
• Understanding of facilities management, maintenance, or project-based service delivery - or the ability to pick up sector knowledge quickly
• Confident, credible client-facing communication and negotiation skills
• Comfort working cross-functionally with operations, compliance, and finance to get commercially viable proposals over the line

Compensation & Package

£70,000 base, plus a 3% profit-share bonus.
