Business Development Director 
A senior Business Development opportunity within a well-established printing firm.
OverviewThe primary responsibility is to support new business development within the Direct Mail division, ensuring growth targets are met. The role works closely with business development teams and clients to identify and convert new business opportunities, manage the bid process, and deliver client-facing documentation and presentations that articulate our direct mail proposition and solutions.
Responsibilities- Strong consultative selling skills with a proven ability to understand client opportunities and create solutions
- Winning new business in line with the sales and marketing plan
- Establish a business development pipeline by building on existing network opportunities
- Stay conversant with key market trends, changing client requirements, and competitor activity
- Generate leads that fit the ideal client profile in conjunction with the prospecting process
- Build revenue and profits from new clients
- Monitor progress of proposals, plans, and objectives
- Pioneer solutions development in conjunction with other functions of the business
- Excellent engagement skills both internally and externally
- Experience selling Direct Mail to B2C and B2B clients
- Minimum 8-10 years Business Development experience
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Consistently exceeds business targets
