We are looking for a skilled and motivated Director Business Development to work with our Digital Solutions team, selling the LP Portal, an investor platform that helps GPs increase productivity and engagement with their LPs, Sensr Analytics, Funded and additional products as we grow. We integrate Virtual Data Room, LP Portal, Electronic Subdocs and more into one cloud-native platform.

Your role will be to hunt for new business, identify, qualify, and close prospects based on their investor relations needs.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, closing, forecasting and CRM use.
  • Showing our software solutions during presentations and demos
  • Effectively communicate to customers the benefits of the platform base on our client's needs.
  • Manage our incoming leads from various channels along with managing your sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with various departments to maximize revenue and ensure customer success
  • Become an expert in private markets and learn the inner workings of the industry
  • Use metrics and data to continually improve effectiveness
The ideal background for this role:
  • 5+ years SaaS sales experience in the financial services sector, preferably in alternative investments.
  • Experience in developing relationships with new customers and solution-oriented selling.
  • Proven history of successfully selling SaaS solutions to the Private Equity industry.
  • Previous experience selling Limited Partner (LP) Portal Solutions is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently.
  • Knowledgeable on the KPIs used in PE investing.
  • Customer focused, technical skills, professional accountability, teamwork, self-direction and emotional intelligence.
  • Has a strong ability to take initiative.
