Role Description

Allianz UK is seeking talented and experienced Business Analysts & Senior Business Analysts to join our Transformation Programme. These roles are crucial in shaping and implementing the target operating model for our Commercial business. We are recruiting for several positions supporting various initiatives across the programme.

Our goal is to transform the end-to-end experience for policyholders, intermediaries, internal users, and other stakeholders through modernising core systems, developing data-led digital assets, and integrating internal and external systems.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the scoping of change initiatives within the Transformation Programme, working within the Business Analysis Framework.
• Utilise your skills as a Business Analyst to support other Programme Business Analysts in ensuring quality and excellence in analysis and delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, define, and manage business requirements with clear end-to-end traceability.
• Ensure requirements are fully understood and approved, supporting change control and prioritisation.
• Assist in the development, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation of solutions by collaborating with solution partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in retrospectives, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing sessions to learn from experiences and understand how benefits are delivered.

Essential Skills

• Passionate about the Business Analyst role, with experience in medium to large change projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficient in eliciting comprehensive requirements and achieving stakeholder consensus using various analysis techniques.
• Experience creating Epics and User Stories with tools like Confluence and Jira.
• Good understanding of Use Cases, Value Streams, and Personas.
• Ability to apply industry-standard modelling techniques including data modelling and BPMN.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• An agile mindset with a flexible and adaptable approach to delivering business priorities.
• Senior Business Analysts: Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and support junior team members.

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of Business Change support activities.
• Experience in a Financial Services environment, particularly Commercial General Insurance.
• BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent.
