Business Analyst with Apps Transformation experience Role SummaryAs part of our overall investment and growth strategy in the UK we are hiring experienced Technical Business Analysts to join our team.
- Initially the Business Analysts will join an Application Modernisation programme; but over time there will be opportunities to take on a wider range of opportunities for example in Software development programmes.
- Within the Application Modernisation programme, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the transformation of legacy applications into modern, scalable, and cloud-native solutions. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
- You'll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively with business units and multidisciplinary teams.
- You'll contribute to the digital transformation of an organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for applications in scope.
- Work with Architects, business owners and project managers to ensure technical solutions meet business processes and expectations.
- Support application configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
- Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Maintain documentation including user guides, process flows, and system specifications.
- Assist in change management and user training efforts.
- Support the continuous improvement of the modernisation process.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or application-focused role.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with a range of application types (E.g. Enterprise, Custom, Packaged).
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
- Agile/Scrum certification.
