Role Title: Business Analyst

Location: London

Duration: 31/12/2026

Days on site: 2-3

Pay Rate: £411 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)

Role Description:

Business & Domain Knowledge

- Experience within investment banking/financial services Business analysis and change.
- IB Global Markets Front to back understanding of how data supports reporting and business processes.
- Ability to identify critical data elements, understand downstream impacts, and drive data-related decisions.
- Cross-border programme knowledge would be advantageous, although not mandatory.

Skills

- Data analysis and data investigation.
- Data design and data modelling concepts.
- Data mapping and lineage analysis.
- Identification and resolution of data quality issues.
- Understanding of reference data and enterprise data domains.
- Contribution to operating model and data governance activities

Technical Expectations

- Comfortable analysing and reconciling large datasets.
- Ability to access, interpret and make sense of data rather than build data pipelines.
- Strong data querying skills (SQL preferred).
- Familiarity with tools such as Hypercube would be beneficial.

Stakeholder Management

- Work with multiple business and technology teams.
- Manage senior stakeholder engagement and discussions.
- Drive initiatives independently and influence decisions where required.
