Business Analyst

Business Analyst - 4 days - Mainly Onsite Netherlands - Start ASAP

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who will act as the coordinating link between the business and the IT teams. The main tasks will be understanding of business processes, end-to-end chains and information flows, and can translate these into functional designs, requirements and solution directions for information systems and integrations

Responsibilities

• Translating business processes and end-to-end process chains into functional requirements
• Creating functional designs for interfaces and integrations
• Aligning with business, IT and suppliers on solution directions
• Developing process flows, use cases and user stories
• Supporting the definition of data mapping and conversion rules in collaboration with data and architecture roles
• Facilitating workshops, documenting outcomes and registering findings, actions and decisions
• Gathering and analysing information needs from stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong experience within IT and/or information management
• Experience as a Business Analyst in complex projects involving multiple systems and integrations
• Proven experience with Process modelling, for example BPMN and use cases
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
• Knowledge of SAP modules MM, EAM and/or QM, or the S/4HANA equivalent
• Knowledge of planning processes, water sampling processes and logistics
• Experience with end-to-end chain processes and integrations, for example between ERP and external systems
• Experience in regulated environments, such as the water sector or government/public sector

Project details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 10 months (+ option to extend)
• Occupancy: 3-4 days/week
• 75% on site in Netherlands
• Language: Dutch
