Business Analyst - REMIT Operations - Energy Trading - potential for long term contract
Location: London (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)

Role Overview
We are recruiting for a Business Analyst with proven experience in REMIT operational processes to support a leading energy trading firm in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering regulatory change initiatives, particularly around REMIT II, and ensuring compliance across transaction reporting systems. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for REMIT II implementation and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to define and document business requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for regulatory changes.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
• Ensure alignment with EMIR, MiFID II, and other relevant regulations.

Required Experience

• Strong background in REMIT operations, ideally within energy or commodities trading.
• Experience with REMIT II, EMIR, MiFID II, and transaction reporting.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, documentation, and regulatory analysis.
• Familiarity with compliance systems and data flows.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
