Job Description
Business Analyst (payments experience)
Start: ASAP
Duration: initial 3 months
Location: 2 days p/ week on site in Leeds
Pay: 500-550 p/day (inside IR35)
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) to support the Outbound Faster Payments project for an initial 3-month engagement. You'll work across the main project and related workstreams, owning analysis deliverables and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality analysis with minimal oversight.
- Define and document as-is and to-be business processes.
- Produce clear, detailed business requirements.
- Conduct Business Impact Assessments where needed.
- Deliver and maintain key BA documentation, including:
Process Maps
Requirements (High & Detailed Level)
Business Design Docs
Impact Assessments
BA Plan & Approach
Track and report risks/issues; keep documentation updated.
Engage stakeholders across business and tech teams.
Support testing and implementation with relevant insights.
Experience:
- Excellent stakeholder engagement & communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Expertise in requirements elicitation and documentation
- Experience mapping business processes and conducting impact assessments
- Confidence working across Agile and/or Waterfall delivery
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
