About the role

Joining BAS at BDO Christchurch means becoming part of an 80+ strong team of professionals, focusing on delivering high-quality, value-adding work while developing your career in a high-performing environment.

In this Intermediate/Senior BAS role, you will:

• Provide general accounting, taxation, and business advice to clients
• Assist clients at their premises with management accounting
• Complete Financial Statements and Tax Returns for a diverse client base
• Assist with the preparation of NZ IFRS accounts
• Develop your people leadership skills and support more junior team members

About You

You bring strong accounting and problem-solving skills, ready to apply them across diverse client engagements. With your CA or CPA studies well underway or completed, you're motivated to deepen your expertise and grow your career. You thrive in collaborative environments, where teamwork is essential, and going the extra mile for colleagues is second nature. Your commitment to building strong client relationships helps us deliver meaningful results aligned with their goals.
