Job Description

Business Administrator

Location: HPC, Bristol (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Pay Rate: £160 per day

Our Client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is hiring a reputable company to support their HPC Delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high profile project within the UK's new nuclear build programme.

What you'll be doing:
  • Providing professional, accurate administrative support to the department and wider programme team
  • Managing diaries and itineraries, organising meetings, and preparing meeting packs
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation, and hospitality arrangements
  • Maintaining data and records for easy access and retrieval
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including counterparts across locations
  • Recording and producing minutes for key meetings
  • Handling office services such as reprographics and document binding
  • Responding to phone and email enquiries from a wide range of external parties
  • Drafting letters and reports, ensuring professional presentation and confidentiality
What you'll bring:
  • Strong organisational skills with a flexible, methodical approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various levels of the organisation and external contacts
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work
  • Proficiency in Outlook or similar email/diary applications, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience supporting teams or projects in a fast paced environment
Ideal candidates will also demonstrate:
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands
  • A proactive attitude and a self starter mindset
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven administrative experience supporting busy teams or projects
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to office and project environments
