First City Fire and Security Ltd is a leading independent specialist provider of high-quality fire alarm systems and security systems. Due to recent business growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Admin Apprentice to support the future proofing of our business and service demand.

Main Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to secure an office-based career within the fire and security sector. The apprentice will work across all departments within the office and will be supported from day one, with a dedicated mentor assigned from our team. • Other office work as required

Entry Requirements:
The apprenticeship lasts 12-18 months and requires full commitment. The ideal candidate should live near the M22 and be able to attend the office daily.

Training to be Provided:
Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training remotely twice a month. You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your dedicated tutor-led meetings on MS Teams and gather any on-the-job evidence needed to supplement your studies. The employer will also train you in any areas of Business Administration relevant to their day-to-day operations. Learning is completed remotely, with any face-to-face requirements resulting in a member of Skills for Security coming to the office rather than the apprentice going to a training centre.

Progression within the office, including quotation work, will be on offer for the successful apprentice.
