Bus Fitter

C9 recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Bus Fitter for one our prestigious clients based on the beautiful Isle of Man with relocation assistance available.

Main Duties:

1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to the Division's road vehicles. Prepare vehicles for annual test

2. Respond to new defects and breakdowns

3. Respond to failures on the road

4. Complete records of work carried out

5. Maintain tidiness of the workshop and maintenance bay, and act to remedy deficiencies

6. Undergo appropriate safety and vocational training as required

7. To ensure personal safety, and that work undertake does not compromise the safety of others

8. Provide, if required (after training), First Aid cover to workgroups

9. Undertake New Works and Street Works Operator duties

10. Any other duties relevant to the grade as may be allocated from time to time

What do you need to be successful in this role?

Formal Apprentaship
Significant experience as a PSV or HGV maintainer.
Awareness of Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
PSV or HGV driving licence.
