Bus Driver - Belfast City Hospital

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Bus Driver to join the team at Belfast City Hospital.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm

(Early finish may be possible)

Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

Contract: Temporary for 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension based on performance

Additional Benefit: Free on-site parking

Please note: All interested applicants must hold a valid Category D driving licence and a valid CPC card to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely driving a bus to collect and drop off service users at various locations, including day centres, scheduled outings and home addresses.
• Ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of all passengers at all times.
• Working collaboratively with bus escorts to provide appropriate support and assistance to passengers.
• Adhering to all road traffic regulations and Trust policies.
• Completing pre- and post-journey vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

What We Need From You

• Full UK Driving Licence, including Category D, with a valid CPC Driver Qualification Card.
• Willingness to undergo an Access NI police check.
• Previous professional driving experience with a good knowledge of local routes and geography.
