Building Services Supervisor

About Us and the Role - Building Services Supervisor role based in Warwick. Previous caretaking or security experience is preferred but not required as training will be provided. The role involves on-site duties, weekend overtime, on-call duty, and on-site phone for business use.
Responsibilities- Open and close buildings on schedule and ensure safety and security using alarms.
- Supervise cleaning and caretaking staff and contractors; undertake site inspections and recycling activities.
- Manage routine maintenance tasks, porterage, cleaning, stock ordering, and completing required paperwork.
- Respond to emails, support internal and external customers, and assist the wider team as directed.
- Undertake training activities as needed.
- Full-time, 38 hours per week, starting at 11:15 and finishing at 20:15, with a 1-hour lunch break from 15:00 to 16:00.
- Basic Salary: £25,583 to £25,989 per annum.
- Regular overtime: 6 hours at time and a half every 4th Saturday (08:00-13:00 and 16:00-17:00), 3 hours at double time every 4th Sunday (07:00-09:00 and 16:00-17:00), and 1 hour at time and a half every week.
- Standby duty: £2,780.40 per annum (subject to annual review).
- Contractual weekend overtime every 4th week as specified for Saturdays and Sundays.
- Contractual standby duty (on call) every 4th week with on-call hours listed for weekdays and weekends.
- Ability to work in a team or alone, operate on your own initiative, and work under pressure.
- Good customer care skills; flexible in approach and willing to support the wider team.
- Willingness to undertake training and take pride in your work.
- Valid driving license required.
- Must live close enough to respond to emergency call outs within approximately 20 minutes.
