Broker Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Broker Manager to lead and grow our Broker channel within the Food, Agriculture & Outdoor (FA&O) market. This role is pivotal in driving incremental business through approved Brokers, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards. You will be responsible for managing Broker relationships, driving performance, and executing our Broker strategy to achieve sustainable growth.

Day to day:
- Build and maintain a segmented, high-performing Broker network aligned with strategic growth targets.
- Lead the annual Broker review process, including KPI tracking, Consumer Duty quality assurance activity, and commission structure evaluations.
- Onboard new Brokers and identify growth opportunities within existing relationships.
- Visit Brokers at their premises where required to build strong working relationships.
Performance & Strategy Execution
- Deliver against NBV, margin and contribution targets.
- Monitor Broker performance using Power BI dashboards and ensure alignment with DLL's ideal Broker model.
- Drive e-sign adoption and digital engagement.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all Brokers operate within FCA and Consumer Duty regulations.
- Oversee introducer agreements and commission disclosure compliance.
- Support internal projects related to regulatory changes impacting Broker operations.
- Partner with Sales Support to streamline Broker queries and improve service levels.
- Organize Broker forums and workshops to foster collaboration and gather Voice of the Customer insights.
- Share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

- Proven experience (3+ years) in Broker management or asset finance, ideally within agriculture or food sectors.
- Strong understanding of FCA and Consumer Duty regulations.
- Commercially astute with a track record of delivering sales and profitability targets.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Digitally literate with experience in using CRM and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment with hybrid flexibility.
