Breakfast Chef/Chef de Partie

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen organisation. Hours - 2 days per week on a rota bases Midweek, no weekend work required. Hours 7am to 2pm

Minimum 1 years experience required

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
This will include cooking of Breakfast & Brunch Menu along with prep for Breakfast , Brunch and All Day Menu for our main restaurant menu to include, sauces, sides, mains, starters, desserts as required.
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and consistency.
Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including inventory control and stock rotation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent hospitality skills, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork.
A passion for culinary arts and continuous improvement in cooking skills.
