We're hiring: Breakfast House

Walcot House is looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our growing team. The Breakfast Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking food to the high quality specifications and standards expected at Walcot House.

What we're after:

• Prepare and deliver the breakfast menu to the standard set by our Head Chef


• Once breakfast service is finished, prepare for the following day as well as support the team set up for Lunch service.


• Fridge management


• Ordering and stock rotation


• Health and safety checks opening the kitchen

Skills and Experience

• Experience as a chef in high quality food preparation - minimum one year


• Passion for seasonal produce and healthy nutritious foods


• Work well under pressure during busy breakfast service


• Have great organisational skills


• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

The Schedule:

• 6-8 hour shifts (8am - 4pm ideally)


• Full time (40 hours)


• Day shift

The Knowledge:

• Chef: 1 year +


• Cooking: 1 year +

Preferred:

• Driving Licence
