We're a busy 4-star hotel in the heart of Manchester, just minutes from Piccadilly Station, and we're looking for a Breakfast Chef to lead the most important service of the day. You'll play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a fresh, well presented, and delicious breakfast experience every morning.
What You'll Do Breakfast Service & Food Quality- Prepare and present a high quality breakfast offering including hot buffet items and continental selections
- Ensure all food is cooked and presented to brand standards
- Maintain a well stocked and organised breakfast service area
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service
- Prepare ingredients and set up the kitchen ready for a smooth breakfast service
- Manage stock levels for breakfast items and communicate ordering needs
- Ensure all food preparation follows company recipes and standards
- Support the wider kitchen team with prep where required
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures
- Monitor temperature checks and food safety documentation
- Follow HACCP guidelines and company policies at all times
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef in a fast paced kitchen
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- A passion for quality ingredients and well presented dishes
- Ability to work efficiently during busy morning service
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends
