Brands Associate

A leading London law firm with one of the largest specialist brands practices in the UK is looking to recruit a Brands Associate (2-5 PQE) to join its highly regarded Brands team. The team advises many of the world's most recognised global brands across complex trade mark, copyright and advertising matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large specialist practice with genuine breadth of work across contentious and strategic brand protection matters. The Role You will work across a broad range of brand protection matters including:

• Trade mark litigation and disputes
• Copyright infringement claims
• Brand enforcement strategies
• Trade mark oppositions and registry proceedings
• Advertising and marketing regulatory issues
• Trade mark portfolio strategy

The role offers exposure to high-profile disputes as well as strategic advisory work, allowing associates to develop into well-rounded brands specialists.The Team The group is one of the largest dedicated brands practices in London. Associates benefit from exposure across the full lifecycle of brand protection work, from portfolio strategy through to complex litigation.Ideal Candidate The team is seeking a well-rounded brands lawyer with experience across:

• Trade mark disputes
• Copyright litigation
• Brand enforcement work

Experience in trade mark oppositions, registry work or advertising regulation would be beneficial but is not essential. Candidates currently working within IP litigation or specialist brands teams are particularly encouraged to apply.
