You will lead a team of recruitment professionals, drive business development, ensure operational excellence, and deliver sustainable growth while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.In addition to leading the commercial and operational performance of the Edinburgh branch, you will act as the Registered Manager for our Care Inspectorate-registered nurse staffing service in Scotland. You will provide clinical leadership and governance, ensuring the service operates in full compliance with Care Inspectorate requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.Where you'll be working:This is a full time position based in our Edinburgh Office.What you'll be doing:Lead the day-to-day operations of the Edinburgh branch, ensuring strong financial and operational performance.Drive business development activity, identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.Lead, coach, motivate and develop a high-performing recruitment team, creating a positive and results-focused culture.Deliver branch sales, margin and profitability targets through effective planning and performance management.Ensure exceptional service delivery for clients, candidates and healthcare workers.Monitor branch KPIs, implementing improvement plans to maximise productivity and performance.Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, contractual and company standards.Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, commissioners and key stakeholders across the region.Support the recruitment, onboarding and development of branch colleagues.Work collaboratively with regional leadership and support functions to achieve business objectives and contribute to the continued growth of Jane Lewis.Act as the Registered Manager for our Care Inspectorate-registered nurse staffing service, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.Maintain robust clinical governance processes, including incident management, audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement.Ensure all nursing staff meet professional registration, compliance and competency requirements.Lead Care Inspectorate inspections and regulatory engagement, ensuring all statutory notifications and reporting requirements are met.What you'll have:Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and an active PIN.Eligible to be the Registered Manager for a Care Inspectorate-registered nurse staffing service.Previous management experience within healthcare recruitment, healthcare staffing or a regulated healthcare service.Proven track record of delivering sales growth, business development and financial performance.Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and healthcare regulation.Knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and Scottish Health and Social Care Standards would be highly desirable.Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management experience.Commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational performance with regulatory compliance.Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.What to look forward to:25 days plus bank holidaysBirthday offJoin the Active Learning Hub and benefit from a wide range of e learning and face to face training and development opportunitiesActive Reward App giving discounts and savings on your weekly shopFree 24 hour confidential Employee Assistance Programme Helpline & App to support with legal, health, wellbeing, relationship and consumer adviceA Nest Personal Pension accountAccess to join a Medicash Health Plan for you and your family to save money on everyday health essentials - like going to the dentist or opticiansWe recognise outstanding Active Behaviours via the Active Awards programmeEnhanced Sick & Maternity Pay benefitsRefer a Friend Scheme and earn yourself up to £1500 by recommending someone you know and, of course, the support and guidance of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so that you can really develop your career with Active Care Group Take a look around the company
