Job Description
Overview 
Managing the 'day to day' operations of a bureau, as required, by the Sales Manager or above. To maintain, develop and deliver stated/agreed targets and standards within the branch to enable the achievements of TCGI's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all staff converts every GP opportunity by continually calling-in customers, selling up, and closing the deal to maximize the full potential of each inquiry/transaction.
- Conduct regular internal audits and spot checks.
- Day-to-day running of the branch, within agreed limits.
- Ability to fulfill internal transfer and treasury requirements.
- Manage selling, customer service activities and staff competence to optimize, sustain and enhance sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction, by providing exemplary levels of service in all areas including acknowledging customers when in a customer-facing environment.
- Lead from the front and ensure all staff adopt a proactive approach.
- Always maintain a professional approach to colleagues and management.
- Ensure that the branch has a positive and friendly atmosphere, and that staff morale is high.
- Inform management immediately if there is the slightest suspicion of untoward behavior within the team.
- Ensure that staff are always dressed in a presentable manner.
- Ability to conduct training and development sessions with staff.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and security procedures within the branch are always adhered to.
- Ensure that the team have the necessary skills to do the job.
- Ensure that the bureau is always kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure that all electrical, lighting, video and security equipment is maintained, repaired and fully operational.
- Ensure that there are adequate stocks of local and foreign currency, traveller's cheques, and all ancillary products.
- Be fully aware of and implement all company policies and procedures.
- Undertake other duties as considered essential for effective operations and services, as this list is not exhaustive.
