Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm

Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager to join a well-established hire and sales business in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident manager to take ownership of a busy branch, lead a team of 12, and drive performance across operations, sales and customer service.

This role would suit someone with strong commercial awareness, previous branch leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to managing both people and process.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of the branch
• Leading, motivating and overseeing a team of 12 staff
• Planning, monitoring and controlling resources to achieve budgeted turnover and profit
• Maintaining and developing existing client accounts across the branch territory
• Driving new business and maximising sales opportunities
• Monitoring staff KPIs and overall branch performance
• Supporting the ongoing training and development of the team
• Taking responsibility for branch security and safe operations
• Monitoring and maintaining debt control procedures
• Overseeing the yard function and ensuring all equipment is maintained and in good working order

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous experience as a Branch Manager
• Experience within a hire and sales business would be highly advantageous
• Strong experience managing a P&L
• A proven track record of leading and developing staff
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to drive branch growth
• A full UK driving licence
