Brake Press Operator

Press Brake Operator - Night Shift

We are currently seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team on a permanent night shift. This role would suit candidates with 1-2 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication or press brake operation.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Thursday
• 4:00pm - 2:00am
• 1-hour lunch break

Salary

• Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating press brake machinery
• Working with Amada and LVD press brake machines
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing folded sheet metal components to specification
• Carrying out quality checks on finished parts
• Maintaining safe working practices and a clean work area

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience operating press brake machinery
• Experience with Amada and/or LVD machines preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Reliable and able to work independently
