The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and detail driven Bought In Goods Compliance Technologist to support the integrity, safety and quality of our bought in goods portfolio. In this role the building of very strong technical relationships with suppliers of high performing bought in good brands is key.
In addition, you will support & maintain robust technical processes (e.g. supplier & internal audits, supplier approval, finished product specifications, customer complaints investigations, artwork checks), to ensure compliance with customer and BRCGS Agents & Brokers standards and play a key part in upholding the high quality of our brands across the UK and EU. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid technical experience in the food industry who thrives in a fast paced, cross functional environment and is passionate about delivering safe, high quality products.

To be successful in your application, you must demonstrate that you can prioritise and have a focused and pragmatic approach to problem solving, can use root cause analysis to identify, assess and select the most appropriate course of action to resolve issues.
Experience of BRCGS Agents & Brokers is desired together with HACCP level 3, Food Safety level 3, Lead Auditor & Legal Labelling qualifications.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate technical experience within a food manufacturing environment, and/or a supply chain technical role. You will have a proactive work ethic and excellent communication skills.
