Job Title: Boiler Fitter - Industrial Maintenance Engineer

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: Service Delivery

Hours of Work: 37 per week

Salary: £45,000

What You'll be doing:

You'll be carrying out both Planned and Reactive maintenance to deliver the operational availability of Portsmouth Naval Base, whilst ensuring full compliance and Safe to Operate capability. Carrying out pump rooms & dock inspections and reporting back any defects and ensuring the steam production is uninterrupted to network during heating systems.

Shift Pattern:

This role follows a rotating shift pattern of four days working 6am-6pm, followed by four days off, and then four nights working 6pm-6am.

You'll have:

Experience of working with industrial/commercial boilers, knowledge of relevant pressure regulations (PSSR 2000, BG01) and experience of carrying out mechanical fault finding and rectification.
