Salary: Basic Salary of between £32,000 - £36,000 perannum + bonus - OTE Up to £42,000

Location: Maidstone, Kent, ME15

Hours: 42 Hours weekly (Monday - Thursday 8am- 5pm & Friday 8am 4.30pm)

Our client is recruiting for an experienced anddedicated Bodyshop Advisor/Estimator to join their team at their premiumbranded car dealership in Maidstone, Kent.

You will be a team player with exceptional communicationskills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to theiraftersales manager who will help impact your knowledge and experience alongwith the team, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strongcareer within the industry. This is a varied role combining traditional Service Advisorresponsibilities with vehicle estimating, insurance claim management andbodyshop coordination.

The successful candidate will be the main point of contactfor customers, ensuring an outstanding customer experience from initial enquirythrough to vehicle handover.

You do not need to have Estimating experience to be consideredfor this role, our client are happy to consider an experience Bodyshop ServiceAdvisor / Receptionist who is keen to progress into Estimating / Vehicle DamageAssessing.

Customer Service & Service Advisor Duties

• Managingcustomer bookings and scheduling repair work.
  
• Handlingtelephone, email and face-to-face customer enquiries.
  
• Welcomingcustomers and conducting vehicle inspections.
  
• Providingupdates on repair progress and managing customer expectations.
  
• Ensuringa high standard of customer service at all times.
  
• Managingand processing PSL insurance claims.
  
• Liaisingwith insurance companies, engineers and customers regarding repairs andauthorisations.
  
• Maintainingaccurate records and documentation.
  

Bodyshop Coordination

• Coordinatingcustomer visits and vehicle assessments.
  
• Workingclosely with technicians and the bodyshop team to ensure efficientworkflow.
  
• Monitoringrepair progress and ensuring completion within agreed timescales.
  
• Supportingthe achievement of productivity and quality targets.
  

Parts Management

• Sourcing,organising and ordering non-franchise parts.
  
• Liaisingwith suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery.
  
• Monitoringparts availability to minimise repair delays.
  

What our client is Looking For

• Previousexperience in a Bodyshop Estimator, Service Advisor or similar automotiverole.
  
• Strongcustomer service and communication skills.
  
• Experiencedealing with insurance claims and repair estimates is highly desirable.
  
• Goodorganisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  
• Excellentattention to detail and administration skills.
  
• Abilityto work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Knowledgeof bodyshop repair processes and parts procurement would be advantageous.
  
• Fulland valid UK driving licence
  

Our client are happy to consider an experienced ServiceAdvisor from a Bodyshop background who is keen to progress into a role as an Estimator/ Vehicle Damage Assessor.
