BMS Control Panel Design Engineer / Draughtsman

Crompton Controls is expanding and is seeking a skilled BMS Control Panel Design Engineer / Draughtsman to join its growing team in Wakefield. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building management systems, who enjoys translating concepts into accurate technical designs, and who wants to be part of a long-established, forward-thinking manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality BMS control panel drawings and schematics

• Working closely with engineering and production teams to support project delivery

• Ensuring all designs meet project specifications and relevant industry standards

• Supporting and contributing to continuous improvement in design processes

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in BMS, controls, electrical drawing, or a related field

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (preferred)

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent 2D/3D engineering CAD tools

• Good understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and instrumentation (advantageous)

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively within a hands on engineering environment
