Birmingham - SP- Assessment and Shot Term intervention Team

Join our dedicated Assessment and Short-Term Intervention Team based in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to contribute to our mission of improving the lives of vulnerable children and families. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and delivering effective short-term support to families in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that promote the welfare and safety of children.
• Collaborating with multi agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date case records and documentation in line with local policies and procedures.
• Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have a strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in assessment and intervention work is essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a team and manage a varied caseload.
