Bio-Tissues Quality Assurance Auditor

ANZCO Foods Canterbury are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-driven Quality Assurance Auditor to join our innovative Bio-Tissues team. In this position, you'll work closely with our Healthcare Quality Manager, taking the lead in driving excellence across our Quality Management System (QMS).

From overseeing inspections and verifications to leading auditing processes, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations meet the highest regulatory standards. You'll also contribute to the continuous improvement of our QMS, helping to shape quality practices that truly make a difference.

Duties and Responsibilities will include

• Complete internal and external audits
• Support QMS programs aligned with ISO 13485 and ISO 22442-2
• Investigate audit findings to identify corrective and preventative actions and implement where required, including assisting with the non-conformance management
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality records, including processing record files and databases.
• Assist with supplier management

Skills and Experience we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in science or similar; OR 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing or regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar preferred).
• Solid understanding of Quality Systems and continuous improvement practices
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for processing and exporting animal derived materials for the biomedical industry.
• Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and documentation
• Recent and relevant experiences working in a meat-processing environment, in particular healthcare products, is an advantage.
• Hands-on auditing experience, both internal and external
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 22442-2 standards is preferred.
