BIM Modeler

Akkodis Belgium is looking for a BIM Modeler.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits, including preparation, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and update the BIM model with CAD and functional data.
• Manage interferences and deliver collision reports.
• Extract data from the BIM model for Bills of Materials/Quantities.
• Produce various drawings, including site plans, equipment layouts, piping isometrics, and process diagrams.
• Support the Design Team with layout reports and photomontages.
• Participate in project meetings to ensure consistency of layout inputs and outputs.
• Review detail design drawings and BIM models from contractors.
• Monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
• Report to the Project Manager and team leaders.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electro-Mechanics or related field, with knowledge of civil engineering.
• Several years of experience as a Draftsman on large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in BIM/3D and 2D CAD software.
• Strong interest in digital tools and methodologies.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with good English communication skills.
• Dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills.
